Apps

Lectern on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

A native SwiftUI client for the same library, built from one codebase for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26. It reads the same documents through the same API, and adds the Document Player.

This page has no app screenshots: the app's repository holds no capture of it running on fictional data, and the fleet showcase shows only real captures.

What is in the app

The reader and the admin pages, natively.

The app authenticates through the fleet's identity provider with a standard OpenID Connect and PKCE flow, and keeps its tokens in the Keychain.

Dashboard and library
Featured, recently opened, and assigned reading, then the full library with collections, subject filters, and paging.
Search and the viewer
Full-text search and the document viewer, with document links that open inside the app.
The assistant
Ask the library with streamed, cited answers, as on the web.
Admin pages
For admins, featured documents, assignments, history, and analytics, gated the same way as on the web.
The Document Player
Full-screen narrated presentations with an audio system, a local cache for media, resume where you stopped, and Handoff between devices.
One codebase
iPhone, iPad, and Mac are three targets of one project. The Mac app is a native SwiftUI target, not a Catalyst port.
